  • First we meet with the client and briefly go over the inspection contract, answer any questions the client may have, collect the inspection fee and begin the inspection. The entire process can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on size, age, and design of the property (crawlspace vs. basement vs. poured slab).

  • Inspections generally begin on the exterior of the property. All exterior features of the property will be inspected: The foundation and infrastructure, decks & porches, roof, chimney, driveways, walkways, exterior cooling, electrical, and plumbing components, and drainage systems. Next we work through the building in a logical sequence, one room at a time and one floor at a time. Reporting on all walls, ceilings, floors, doors, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, appliances, ceiling fans, and on the presence of smoke detectors.

Once the detailed interior and exterior checks are completed a thorough evaluation of the plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, ventilation, and insulation is performed which includes the basement/crawl and attic areas.

  • With your inspection completed, your report is prepared and in your hands the same day as the inspection. Inspections can be emailed, faxed, or printed and delivered.
